- The State Teachers College in East Radford, VA, applied for and received funding from various federal agencies for the contruction of several buildings, a new heating plant, and other campus improvements between the years 1933-1939 as part of the New Deal. This collection includes documents pertaining to the building of a dining hall (Walker Hall), a dormitory (Norwood Hall), a science building (Reed Hall), a president's house (built where Heth Hall stands), a heating plant, and landscaping projects.
