Biographical Note
Quest is designed to help new students in their transition to Radford University. Students register for classes, obtain ID cards, learn about campus services, familiarize themselves with the Radford University campus, interact with their fellow new students and student leaders in a relaxed atmosphere. Quest also develops student leaders through training, supervision, mentorship, and summer employment. The first Quest session was 1979 and the name was chosen because the event was meant to be the start of a college journey, or quest.
Arrangement Note
Five boxes of material, three of which are mostly made up of participant packets and photographs, the other two are posters, shirts, video tapes, and computer discs.
