One day in the life of Virginia’s libraries—

412,969 books, movies and more were checked out

3,726 new customers received library cards

82,565 people used computers at their library

10,764 people came to their libraries for 477 free programs and classes

14,527 people used their libraries to host 1,105 meetings

8,861 people were helped by their libraries with outreach programs

2,205 hours were logged by library volunteers

19,239 research questions were answered

4,228 people used their libraries to host 500 meetings

1,775 people were helped by their libraries with outreach programs

1,757 hours were logged by library volunteers

21,529 research questions were answered
